One of the best parts about traveling is the opportunity to taste local flavors. All our tours include a welcome and farewell meal served with beer or wine. Breakfast is included daily, while the number of lunches and dinners included depends on the itinerary. For multi-course meals, we aim to offer at least three meal choices for you to choose from. You can expect each meal experience to be unique, allowing you to enjoy various aspects of the local cuisine.
Included meals
Breakfast
Our tours always include breakfast served at the hotel. Food and menu options vary depending on the destination and hotel. Most breakfasts will be buffet-style, including fruit, yogurt, cold meats & cheeses, eggs, toast, coffee, juice, and water at a minimum. Many hotels will also serve bacon or sausage, pancakes, French toast or waffles, cereals, and pastries. This spread is most common in Europe and North America. Other destinations may include offerings that more so resemble the local cuisine.
Lunch
Included lunches will take place at a local restaurant or at the hotel. You can expect two-course, buffet, or family-style lunches depending on the destination and restaurant. Water and a soft drink are included, and coffee or tea may be served upon request after the meal. Lunches typically don't include alcohol, aside from the welcome or farewell meal (choose between 2 pints of beer or 2 glasses of wine) and selected experiential lunches.
Dinner
Included dinners are held at local restaurants or hotel restaurants. You'll enjoy two to three-course meals, buffets, or family-style dining. On most tours, dinners are served with beer or wine (unless otherwise noted due to country restrictions), or a soft drink. Water is always included.

Non-included meals
If a meal isn't included, your Tour Director will be happy to recommend the best nearby restaurants depending on what you're in the mood for. Even if a meal isn't included, it's still common to dine with other members of your group (who will quickly feel more like family), so there's no need to worry about eating alone if you don't want to.
