Group travel is all about sharing unforgettable moments with others, and each traveler plays an important role in creating a safe and welcoming environment on tour.
What respectful travel looks like
We ask all travelers to follow a few simple but meaningful guidelines to help ensure everyone feels comfortable and cared for. These expectations are designed to foster kindness, curiosity, and connection throughout your journey.
Here’s what we ask of every traveler:
- Be respectful to your fellow tourmates, Tour Director, bus driver, hospitality staff, and everyone you meet along the way.
- Use kind and appropriate language—words matter.
- Remember you’re a guest in someone else’s home.
- Consider the impact your words and actions may have on others.
- Embrace differences with curiosity and openness.
- Learn about and follow local customs when needed.
- Listen to new perspectives and engage with people from different backgrounds.
- Help create a welcoming environment for all travelers by approaching sensitive topics, such as politics, religion, and personal beliefs, with care and respect.
Remember, group travel is a shared experience, and we’re all in this together. We ask that everyone help us maintain these guidelines.
- Be on time so the group can stay on schedule.
- Listen to your Tour Director and follow their guidance.
- Communicate if any issues or health concerns arise.
