We recognize plans can change and we’re happy to help you reschedule your tour for when the time is right. If you need to rebook, you should always do so as soon as you know you can’t travel to avoid higher rebooking fees.
Rebooking before the Tour Finalization Date
If you need to change your tour date or destination before the Tour Finalization Date, you will be charged a $50 per person fee, and everything else you’ve paid will be moved to your new reservation. If it’s still before the Tour Finalization Date, you can reschedule your tour directly from your online account.
What is Tour Finalization Date?
That’s when we have everything confirmed on our end—it’s an important deadline to remember as you’re getting ready to go! The Tour Finalization Date is 100 days before the first day of your tour.
How to rebook your tour online
If you’d like to reschedule your travel plans, you can begin the process online. First, log in to the EF Adventures account associated with your reservation. Then, select your tour and navigate to "Booking policies." You’ll have the option to choose a different date for your existing tour or switch to a new tour and confirm your details. The payment from your original reservation can be applied to your new tour.
There are a few reasons why you may be prompted to chat live or call in to complete your rebooking, including if your original reservation:
- was made as a Group Coordinator
- was made as part of a Group Coordinator's trip
- includes a family room
- includes a pre-tour or post-tour stay
- includes customized flights
- was made by another person (called the primary booker) and is associated with their account or is past its Tour Finalization Date
Making changes to your tour
Before your Tour Finalization Date (100 days prior to departure), you are entitled to one free change (exclusions apply). After one change, you will incur a $100 change fee. Any changes made after your Tour Finalization Date will incur a $500 fee. No changes can be made to your tour up to 61 days prior to departure.
