We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your tour, so EF Adventures doesn't have a formal dress code. However, we do have a few recommendations to ensure you have the best experience possible.
General clothing tips
- Comfort is key: Choose clothing that's comfortable and appropriate for the adventure you'll be participating in.
- Check the weather: Before packing, check the weather forecast for all your destinations. Dressing appropriately will ensure your comfort throughout the day.
- Layer up: Weather can be unpredictable, so consider packing and wearing layers. This way, you can easily adjust your clothing to stay comfortable whether it’s warm or cool.
- Footwear: Sneakers are essential on multi-adventure tours, and hiking boots are a necessity on hiking tours. No open-toed shoes will be permitted on hiking tours.
- Sun protection: Don’t forget a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun on hikes, swims, and trails.
- Modesty: Some destinations may have cultural or religious norms that influence clothing. When applicable, we'll provide guidance to ensure you're dressed respectfully.
Specific dress code guidelines
Some tours may include specific clothing and packing guidelines. For instance, packing dressier attire for nicer dinners or performances, dressing modestly when visiting certain religious sites.
You can find specific dress code information related to your tour in the "Getting ready" section of your online account and mobile app under the "Clothing & packing tips" FAQ.
By keeping these tips in mind, you can enjoy your tour to the fullest without worrying about how you're dressed. If you have any questions about what to wear for specific activities or events, please send us a message. We’re here to help!
